These are four images from the Vietnam War era.  They are very unsettling, yet the reason I display them is to show the abject horrors of war.

When I was approximately nineteen years old, I worked at the Armed Services Recruiting Center not so far from where I lived.  My boss was a Vietnam veteran, he said that the soldiers would collect ears they cut off the Viet Cong that they .  I later learned the GIs (General Issue) earned $3.00 for every V.C. or North Vietnamese villager they .  War cheapens life, to $3 a head.  Anyway, the sargeant said we need another war.  I disagreed, even though I am a pacifist, I likely said nothing at the time.  Do we need war?

Imagine if the global military industrial complex was dissembled, removed from national budgets, and all the proceeds of this windfall were given back to the people.  Wouldn’t that be great?  Imagine swords turned back into ploughshares, and how wonderful a world we would enjoy with more to build besides bombs.  Anyway, if we just imagined more, and hated less, couldn’t this new thinking evolve into the prophesied Garden of Eden?  Just saying.  10/04/2026.
